It may also be possible to participate during research cruises. Mesopelagic organisms often degree carry out diel vertical migration which has been described as the largest animal movement on earth in terms of biomass, and the aim of the study is to unveil behavioral patterns of both individuals and populations through day and night and throughout the year.
