The Norwegian Institute of International Affairs, (NUPI – www.nupi.no) holds a leading position in research and information on international political and economic matters and on issues central to Norwegian foreign policy. Chr. Michelsen Institute (CMI - www.cmi.no) is an independent, non-profit research institution and a major international centre in development research in Bergen, Norway. The institute has 70 employees and an annual turnover of approx. NOK 75 million. Our geographic orientation is towards Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.
