About the research project
The position is part of the project “Combinatorial methods in Mathematical analysis”, funded by The Research Council of Norway. The main topics of the project are harmonic analysis and its applications to partial differential equations, including discrete models, nonharmonic Fourier analysis and discrepancy theory, analysis of Dirichlet series and analytic number theory. The candidate is expected to conduct research in one of these areas and collaborate with other researchers on the project.
The postdoctoral fellow must hold a PhD within a discipline relevant to the project, such as complex or harmonic analysis, partial differential equations, or number theory. PhD students in their last year are also invited to apply; employment will then be postponed until the PhD degree is finished.

A short research plan written together with at least one of the permanent members of the analysis group participating in the project (Bondarenko, Grepstad, Lyubarskii, Malinnikova, Seip)
Contact information for two references.
Documentation of fluency in the English language.
Other documents which the applicant finds relevant may also be included, such as information about teaching experience, testimonials and certificates.
