Assistant Professor in Business Taxation
NHH Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen, Norway, invites applications for one position as Assistant Professor in Business Taxation at the Department of Business and Management Science.
The Department has high ambitions in terms of research and offers a stimulating research environment. The main research activities are organized in three broad areas: Business Economics (BE), Management Science (MS), and Energy, Natural Resources and the Environment (ENE). Faculty members have backgrounds from economics, finance, operations research, mathematics and statistics, and the research covers both empirical and theoretical inquiries. The position is associated with the Norwegian Center for Taxation (NoCeT) and applicants are expected to have a research interest in areas such as multinational corporations and taxation, tax accounting, tax planning and tax evasion, financial crime, taxation and risk, corporate taxation, the relationship between corporate and personal taxation, executive compensation and taxation, taxation and entrepreneurship, taxation and family firms as well as how the tax system affects resource allocation and productivity.
The position is of four years duration. It involves teaching on an average of one course a year and some graduate supervision of students.
Applicants should have a strong research potential and have completed, or be close to completing, a PhD in a relevant field. In the assessment of applicants, international experience and qualifications will be emphasized. In the event of equivalent qualifications, female applicants will be given preference. The salary will be negotiable according to the State Salary Scale for Junior Positions. In addition, we can offer:

- Bonus for publications in selected journals (up to NOK 100 000)
