The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs finances a number of positions as Junior Professional Officers (JPO) in multiple international organizations. During the summer 2014, the Norwegian MFA is planning to recruit two JPOs within the field investigation (UN OIOS and UNDP OAI). These positions are open to Norwegian nationals only. Required education for this position is master level and two years of fulltime post-master experience. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. The applicants can be no more than 35 years of age (UN policy). The JPOs will be offered one-year contracts with extensions up to three years. A reassignment to another duty station could be possible after two years. The application must be written in English.
